The breakfast was gorgeous and tasty, had a huge variety of food. The unit we got was big size with balcony, a nice common garden to lounge plus a lovely view of the garden. The hotel had a remote setting in the cafe attached.
Shame the bathroom was very dirty.

Hotel looks clean and is brilliant. I have stayed in the double room with a lounge and a radiator. Helpful service and the food is reasonably priced.

The Wild Hare Tintern is a hidden gem nestled in a picturesque location alongside the River Wye. The hotel's attractive gardens provide a delightful view of the exceptional old abbey, creating a serene atmosphere. Additionally, the staff's attention to detail and personal touches throughout the rooms, including a balcony and a super size bed, truly enhanced our stay. The modern bathrooms were spotlessly clean, and the breakfast offered a variety of delicious hot options that were included in the price. We also appreciated the hotel's value for money and the excellent service provided by the staff.
All was well during our stay.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The location was so peaceful, surrounded by attractive gardens and just a short distance from the stunning Tintern Abbey. The staff were incredibly accommodating and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, with a super comfortable and large bed. I also really appreciated the little touches like fresh milk outside my door in the morning, and the breakfast options were fantastic. The food was delicious and locally sourced, which was a big plus for me.
I do feel that there were a few areas where the hotel could improve. For example, the lack of curtains in the room was a bit inconvenient as people were constantly passing by.

The staff at the hotel were really friendly and helpful, always willing to assist with any requests we had. The room we stayed in was incredibly clean, and the bed was super comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. the location of the hotel was perfect, with local amenities and beautiful walks right on our doorstep.
That the room we were in was located near a noisy area of the hotel, which made it difficult to sleep at times. It would have been better if the room had better soundproofing to block out the noise.
